Saccaromyces cerevisiae yeast cell characterized by high content of:
• 1,3-β-glucan and 1,6-β-glucan (25%):
• β-Glucans are directly involved in the nonspecific immune system activity by activating the phagocytosis carried out by macrophages and neutrophils and by stimulating the phagocytic action performed by these cells against pathogenic bacteria and external material.
• Mannan proteins (20%): they are located on the wall external surface. They are mannose polymers that cannot be digested in the intestinal tract. They are often connected with proteins and represent the matrix of fungi and yeasts cell walls.

MOS BENEFITS ON THE ANIMAL:
• They limit the development of pathogenic bacteria in the gastro intestinal tract;
• They neutralise mycotoxins;
• They can be used to stimulate the enteric activity of the positive bacterial flora;
• They increase the local secretion of IgA immunoglobulin.

Fattening cattle: 30 – 50 g/ of the ration d.s.
