TECHNICAL NOTES:

Protector is a complementary feed designed to combat neonatal diarrhea. Its special composition provides various beneficial functions, such as normalizing stool volume and consistency, and preventing diarrhea while reducing its duration.

Specifically, it:

– Strengthens the intestinal barrier, enhancing intestinal development;
– Promotes the growth of beneficial bacteria;
– Binds pathogenic bacteria such as E. coli and Salmonella;
– Supports the immune system;
– Prevents the attachment of certain protozoa.

Additionally, Protector has a high lactose content (90 mmol/l), which supplies glucose and galactose to the intestine, maintaining lactase levels at the intestinal villi.

COMPOSITION:

Carob powder, anhydrous dextrose, psyllium husks, sodium bicarbonate, sweet whey powder, sodium chloride, corn starch, potassium chloride, yeast products, sucrose, concentrated phenolic-polyphenols from hydrolyzed lignocellulose, hydrolyzed lignocellulose, crude glycerol, mono- and diglycerides of butyric, lauric, capric, and caprylic acids, inactive yeast from Saccharomyces cerevisiae.
